4-3-15. Gate Holding Due to Departure Delays
a. 출항 지연이 15분을 초과하는 경우, 혹은 15을 초과하리라 예상되는 경우에는 gate hold procedures가 적용된다. 따라서 조종사는 엔진 시동을 걸기 전에 ground control이나 clearance delivery에 교신해야 한다. 출항을 위한 순서는 최초 교신에 따라 유지된다(단, flow control restrictions에 의해 수정된 경우 제외). 조종사는 엔진 시동 시간을 위해 ground control 주파수나 clearance delivery 주파수를 모니터링 해야 한다.
b. gate hold procedures가 시행 중일 때 터빈 항공기가 활주로나 warm-up block에 도착하였다면 관제사는 조종사의 이륙 준비가 완료되었다고 간주한다(단, 달리 통보받은 경우 제외).
